She focuses on pediatric tethered oral tissue (TOTs) , and orofacial growth and development. Symptoms such as difficulties with infant nursing, toddler feeding & swallowing, speech articulation, and pediatric sleep disordered breathing, can be diagnosed and treated at an early age. Her treatments include oral ties release (tongue/lip frenectomy/frenulopasty), oral appliances for expansion and growth modification. A collaborative team approach including the lactation consultants, pediatricians, ENT's, SLP/OT's, chiropractors is the key to successful treatments. |
