
Dr. Janice Lau believes in providing high quality pediatric dental care and services for children and their family. brooklyn heights has been home to Dr. Lau since 2005. She loves the area and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Dr. Lau is a board-certified diplomate with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She graduated with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from Binghamton university and a Doctor in Dental Surgery degree from the the University of Buffalo. She was then accepted to an advanced post-doctoral general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. It was during that time when dr. lau found her passion for working with children. Subsequently, she completed her post-doctoral training in pediatric dentistry at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she also served as the chief resident.
Dr. Lau is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the New York State Dental Society.
Dr Lau believes in a balanced lifestyle. "I love providing care in my community as well as taking care of my own family!" In her leisure time, Dr. Lau enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and outdoor activities such as snowboarding and mountain biking. She also enjoys home furnishing and architecture as you will find her at the ICFF.

Dr. Mallika Prakash grew up in Texas and attended The University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. After college she moved to New York City to pursue her doctorate in dental medicine at New York University.
As a student Dr. Mallika realized that she enjoyed practicing dentistry most when working with children and went on to pursue a career in Pediatric Dentistry. She completed her General Practice Residency at Flushing Hospital and her Pediatric Dental Residency at Northwell Health, Staten Island University Hospital. During residency, she received intensive training working with children requiring complex medical and dental needs. Throughout this time, she volunteered and was a part of many outreach programs. Today she remains an active member of American Association of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Mallika’s goal is always to make children feel comfortable by giving them a positive experience to remember when they are at the dentist. She hopes to instill good oral hygiene habits within her patients and to give them a beautiful smile. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her family, as well as playing tennis and finding new spots around New York to hike. She is excited and grateful to be a part of the Kinderee family!

Dr. Ewelina Sieka received her doctorate of dental surgery degree from Columbia University and earned the certificate of specialty in pediatric dentistry at Columbia University - New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association as well as the New York State Dental Association. Dr. Sieka is also a candidate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Sieka is originally from Poland. Having moved to the US At 17, she attended Stony Brook University for her undergraduate studies where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry.
Dr. Sieka knew she wanted to pursue pediatric dentistry even before starting dental school. She loves working with children and their families, making the visit a fun experience for all! Dr. Sieka enjoys educating families about the importance of oral health, building lasting relationships along the way. She is excited to be part of kinderee!
Outside of dentistry Dr. Sieka enjoys exploring New York City with her husband and adorable baby boy Mark.
